Welcome back to my educational summer series on the Empowered Spirit Show where we have been talking about the CBD oils.
Finally, the planets are starting to move out of retrograde–well at least Mercury anyway–but more to follow this next month.
We’ve been going through so many shifts with the cosmos, which we talk about on my Energy Focus for the Week. You can tune into them Sundays on Facebook and Instagram. I offer information about the cosmos and how it affects your energy.
With so much stress in the world, finding tools and techniques to relax and be aware of your energy is so important. If you are in need of help or guidance, reach out. Download my free guide to help you set up your own Spiritual Practice. If you would prefer some private mentoring, join me in my Empowered Spirit Program.
Schedule an Empowered Spirit Discovery Session with me and let’s discover what’s draining you of your energy and the #1 thing you can do to empower and trust your inner guidance.
I am offering through the month of August Akashic Record readings as a special to help you to break through the energy imprints of the retrograde and all the old patterns on which you are holding.
Reach out if you would like more information. Don’t let yourself carry this energy with you through the rest of the year! Break free of those imprints!
In this Summer Series on the Empowered Spirit Show, we have been exploring the Mind, Body, and Spiritual World of CBD Oils.
We’ve been exploring questions like…What are CBDs? What do they do? How can they help? Will they get me high? How do they work in the body? How can they help spiritually? What are the benefits? Where can you get them?
I have to say, I learned a lot myself. I experienced the oils for my own healing of skin cancer and social anxiety as well. I never realized how much social anxiety was getting in my way.
So I thought on this episode I would wind it up with a little review.
From what I have learned:
The endocannabinoid system also includes the “cannabinoid receptors” or CB receptors that they bind to. There are two major types of cannabinoid receptors in our bodies: CB1 and CB2. Activation of the extracellular portion of these receptors causes conformational change and initiates intracellular biochemical reactions. The vast number of cannabinoid receptors and their prevalence throughout the body suggests a multitude of promising therapeutic targets.
The CB1 receptors are primarily located on nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, but they are also found in some peripheral organs and tissues such as the spleen, white blood cells, endocrine gland and parts of the reproductive, gastrointestinal and urinary tracts.
In the brain, the CB1 receptors are abundant in the cerebellum, basal ganglia, hippocampus and dorsal primary afferent spinal cord regions, which is why cannabinoids influence functions such as memory processing, physical discomfort and motor control.
The CB2 receptors are mainly found on white blood cells, in the tonsils and in the spleen. The immune cells also express CB1, although there are fewer of them than CB2. In the immune system, one important function of the cannabinoid receptors is the regulation of cytokine release.
The endocannabinoid system performs different tasks on these different system however the goal is always the same, maintaining homeostasis. Homeostasis is the maintenance of a stable internal environment despite shifts in the external environment. As the research continues to unfold one thing is for certain, a functional cannabinoid system is essential for overall health and wellbeing.
Endocannabinoids are molecules which are important for cell to cell signaling. Endocannabinoids are often referred to as "keys" as they are the carrier of information which delivers a message to the receptor, "lock". These important molecules are synthesized on the cellular membrane from omega-6 fatty acid precursors which often come from a healthy and balanced diet.
That’s the science behind the cannabidoils.
One of the things that I really loved in just about all the interviews is that the plant medicine was found due to a need of healing. Either is was children that need to get off meds, or a mother that was dying of cancer, or social anxiety for one’s own self...this plant medicine came in to offer so much help and healing. Everyone I spoke with has shared such an amazing story.
This is when healing occurs. It can help you to create a deeper mind, body and Spirit connection.
Cannabis can help to connect to your higher self. It can help you to ground in your energy to be able to hear what your spirit is offering.
Cannabis can help you to connect to other people as well.
It can give you roots and wings to open up to new experiences in your life.
You need both.
Think about it. Roots are our first chakra. And the wings are our crown and beyond. This beautiful plant medicine is helping us to expand our energy system and to ground with Mother Earth as you tap into the “high”er dimension.
Cannabis has a way of allowing you to live in your bodies, to be more present and experience life in a different way. It opens you up to connect with Spirit and take a step back and really ground.
So as we wrap all this up, one of the most inspiring things for me was that almost everyone I spoke with came to the plant medicine trying to help someone in need: a child, a mother, or even their own self.
Yes...I know there are also recreational reasons, but I think if we can look at it from the healing aspect, we can see just how powerful it is.
My experience has shown me that I can unwind and open up to a deeper part of my own spiritual path. It has helped me to get to the root cause of my skin cancer and to heal without surgery. It has allowed me to feel so much more connected to those around me and to the work that I am doing.
So I offer...if you have any of these struggles and need help knowing what to do, reach out. You don’t have to do this alone.
I am working through some of the courses from the HCA and can help you to find the right application. It will help you to slow down and it can help you to drop into meditation a little easier.
No, it’s not a miracle cure-all. But, it can help you at your cellular structure as well as at the spiritual level.
Roots and wings.
Ground and awaken.
Thank you all for listen. Be sure to go back to any of the episodes if you missed them. And share them! Information and education is to important.
Know your source of where the CBDs are coming from! This is very important!
Start low and go slow.
Great news! This podcast is now available on iHeart Radio and another platform soon to be announced as it was selected for beta testing. More on that as it becomes public.
As I move into preparing the next series, I am asking…What do you want to hear from me? More interviews, some mediation, more information on energy modalities like Reiki, new spiritual authors?
Look for a survey coming you way. Yes, there is a bonus for responding to it: a meditation to help you move out all this summer retrograde energy to prepare for the forward motion of the new season. Don’t carry it around with you.
And, I’m looking for some testimonials about the show and offering some readings in exchange.
Look for the email or click here to respond to it if you aren’t on my email list. You can sign up by going to my website and claiming your free guide on building a spiritual practice.
I am truly grateful to share and talk and stand on my soapbox...so to speak.
I appreciate your time with me!
